About This Project

Frost Aura combines hydration tracking with sound, vibration, posture cues, and focus timers to create a mindful wellness dock for the desk. Inspired by Vedic water concepts and Channapatna craft traditions, it uses a gentle base glow and minimalist form to blend technology into any environment. The companion iOS/Android app provides passive tracking and plans to add Pomodoro and meditation features before mass production. By encouraging regular water breaks and ergonomic awareness, Frost Aura aims to improve focus, balance, and overall wellbeing during long work sessions.

Key Highlights

▸ Smart hydration reminders with sound, vibration, and visual cues to encourage regular water intake.

▸ Integrated posture alerts and focus timers that support productivity and ergonomic wellbeing during work.

▸ Minimalist, Channapatna‑inspired design with ambient base glow that fits seamlessly on any desk.

Risks & Challenges

Main risks include supply chain delays and component shortages affecting electronic parts and eco‑friendly materials, challenges in integrating software features like Pomodoro and meditation before mass production, and ensuring consistent quality through a new manufacturing process. The team mitigates these with multiple vendors, a buffer schedule, and rigorous three‑stage QC, but timelines may still shift.
