About This Project

Aura6 revives the nostalgic feel of Super 8 film in a fully digital camera that records short clips and automatically assembles them into a continuous roll. With a fixed 6‑second clip option (or unlimited), each moment is added in order, creating a ready‑to‑watch short film without any editing, menus or filters. The camera has no playback screen, encouraging users to stay in the moment and share the device with friends, while an optional external microphone can add sound. Built for durability, Aura6 uses robust components and housing to ensure a long usable life, and the team is working with an experienced manufacturer to bring the prototype to production.

Key Highlights

▸ Super 8 look and feel with digital convenience: grain, color, softness and imperfections, all without film or editing.

▸ Automatic roll creation: clips are sequenced in the order filmed, producing a ready‑to‑watch short film with no editing needed.

▸ No playback screen encourages living in the moment; share the camera with friends and view the finished roll later.
