About This Project

Engram is a music device that merges traditional sampling with hands‑on generation and manipulation using tweakable tiny audio models. Users can create, glitch, and stretch sounds, plug in or train their own models, and explore latent‑space audio like a field recorder. The project aims to deliver a retail‑grade unit with a metal enclosure, carbon‑pill keypad, and hardware certifications, funded via Kickstarter. Risks include potential cost increases from global economic instability and tariffs, though RAM supplies are pre‑secured.
