Frustrated by the cost and hassle of transporting large LED lights for video work, Michael sought a way to bring large‑soft lighting into a pocket‑sized form. Applying the inverse‑square law, he created the Talon—a foldable, Y‑shaped light that expands to ~470 cm² of soft surface while weighing only 178 g and running off internal battery or USB power. After seven years of prototyping, hinge refinements and field testing, the Talon Mini, Pro and MAX are ready for production, promising professional‑quality light without the bulk, weight or setup time of traditional soft boxes.
