项目介绍

BLOOMIN8 is a 10-inch full-colour E-Ink Spectra 6 digital canvas designed to bring paper-like, glow-free imagery into your home. Unlike traditional LCD screens, it only uses power when the image changes, making it cord-free and energy-efficient. The device supports remote photo sharing, customizable playlists from Google Photos or iCloud, a library of 10,000+ artworks, and AI-powered image generation and editing through its app. It can be placed magnetically, on a tabletop stand, or wall-mounted, and offers local storage via microSD or integration with Home Assistant and an open API for privacy-focused users.

风险与挑战

As with any hardware project, supply chain delays for E Ink panels, batteries, magnets, or packaging could affect production timelines. Final optimization of magnetic placement, battery performance, refresh quality, firmware stability, and app compatibility may require additional testing time. Higher-than-expected demand could require adjustments to production batches and delivery schedules. The team has prior experience shipping E Ink canvas products and a working app, providing a solid foundation.
