A cartridge with a printed shell and a planned microSD game browser, building on zwenergy’s PM2040.
The PM2354 SD cartridge is a microSD adapter for the Pokémon mini that simplifies game loading by letting users copy .min files to a card and select them via an on‑console menu. A planned Game Boy folder will support .gb games, and Game & Watch support is under development. The cartridge uses a custom RP2354A board with independently written firmware for menu, SD loading, and emulator cores, and ships assembled with a printed shell. Shipping is buyer‑paid after the campaign, with delivery estimated for December 2026.

The custom RP2354A board and its independently written firmware still require integrated testing; passing build and host tests does not guarantee console operation. Timing, power, thermal behavior, game loading and save recovery must be validated on assembled hardware, and the shallow card‑edge bevel needs factory confirmation. Assembly time, production yield, and shipping estimates remain provisional.
