Meet the 18cm Choppa and the sharpest bread knife you'll ever own, plus our 17cm Santoku and 22cm Carving knives are back.
Solidteknics is launching two new Modüla™ knife sizes — the 18cm Choppa and 23cm Bread Knife — alongside returning 17cm Santoku and 22cm Carving knives. Each blade features an asymmetrical edge ground from premium Japanese steel (AUS8 or 67-layer VG10 Damascus), with Australian-made handles and hand-sharpening on the Sunshine Coast. The campaign also introduces a Tassie Blackwood magnetic knife block and end-grain chopping block, both made in Melbourne. These Kickstarter-exclusive sizes are available at founder pricing only during the campaign, with estimated delivery in March 2027.

The two new sizes (18cm Choppa and 23cm Bread Knife) require new tooling, so minor timeline adjustments are possible while finalising production runs at scale. Manufacturing partnerships for blades (Japan), handles (Australia), and sharpening (Sunshine Coast) are established and proven. Solidteknics has 72+ successful Kickstarter campaigns and a track record of on-time delivery and issue resolution.
